Coming Home

After a 15 minute screaming fit in the car seat and a stop at Sonic for some food, we finally got home. Our neighbors the Vance's had decorated the mailbox for us, Heather had hung the U.S. version of BiBi's on the door knob, and the Lyle's had left welcome home notes and a bag of fruit in the house.

Just two days prior in Hong Kong, Violet had stalked a little girl at a mall who had a balloon. Violet acted like she'd never seen such a thing and was literally chasing her by the time I grabbed her and brought her back. Now she had two of her own.

It took us until 2 am to get the kids down for bed by the time they finished exploring the house.

So glad you're home as a family of four now! What a blessed life your sweet little girl has ahead of her. Congrats!

So glad you made it home safely. Looks like big brother has everything in hand -- explaining the ropes so to speak. We are all eager to meet Violet. I imagine Papaw and Grandma will return home via Stillwater. Love, Sharon
