We had our friends Mike, Jen, and Lilah over for breakfast at dinner Saturday night. We had sausage casserole, banana bread, and waffles with lots of toppings to choose from. Lilah liked the chocolate chip and fruit toppings best, Violet wanted her waffle to continually be re-covered with whipped cream, and Quentin kept it basic - just syrup. We had a good time catching up as we had not seen Mike and Jen since before we left for China. We were happy to introduce Violet to their family, and she had a great time playing. Hopefully Quentin, Lilah and Violet can become friends as we spend more time together. Quentin was overly tired from his sleepover at school Friday night, and after several "episodes" of having trouble sharing with the girls, he laid down on the couch and crashed at about 8 pm in the middle of all the chaos. He was a worn out little guy.
